Victorian Dublin

Period Home Dublin, Sliding Sash Windows, Staircase, Internal and External Doors

New houses designed to complement their late Victorian setting

These three houses in Dublin needed to fit in with the 1870-1900 style of the houses around them, while also incorporating the best of modern construction.

The architect drew on distinctive details from houses of the period, such as the 12-foot ceilings and decorative brick detailing, and we supplied the rest: a total joinery fit-out, including conservatories, windows, and external and internal doors.

A grand double-height staircase – supplied and fitted by us – ¬†forms the centre piece of each house. Painted hardwood double-glazed sliding sash windows, fitted with high quality ‘Samuel Heath’ brass handles and casement stays, complete the traditional look with modern thermal efficiency.
